And I'm not going to pretend I'm playing it cool.
I'm thrilled. I'm grateful. And yes, I'd really, really love to bring home that title for the second year in a row.
Last Year, You Made Something Pretty Incredible Happen.
In 2025, Tektite Digital was voted Best of Huntsville in Marketing.
For a small, independently owned digital marketing business, that recognition meant the world to me.
I started building websites years ago because I loved combining creativity with technology. What began as a side hustle eventually became Tektite Digital—a business built around helping other small businesses grow.
I've always believed that small businesses deserve great marketing, thoughtful strategies, and someone in their corner who genuinely cares about their success.
Winning last year felt like a pretty wonderful reminder that the work matters.
And that the community notices.
It's Never Been Just About Websites and SEO.
Sure, I spend a lot of time talking about websites, Google rankings, keywords, backlinks, and all the other things that make business owners say, "WTF does that even mean?"
But what I really love is helping people build something they're proud of.
It's seeing a business owner get excited about their new website.
It's helping a local service provider become easier to find on Google.
It's watching someone who's poured their heart into their business finally start to feel confident about their online presence.
That's the good stuff.
And getting to do that work for the Huntsville business community is something I don't take for granted.
If you've ever read one of my WTF Is SEO? blog posts, you already know I believe marketing should make sense to the people paying for it.
No mysterious jargon. No unnecessary nonsense. Just good marketing and a little personality.
